Christopher Wilkinson was appointed European Commission Consultant on HCI, Usability, and UX in 2014, following a successful collaboration to design an intelligent mobility aid for older people with the University of Trento, Italy. His work inspired the development of a framework to aid in the formative design of assistive technology. Having worked in UX for a number of years, Christopher obtained a Ph.D. in Inclusive Design from Cambridge University in 2012.
