His current research focuses on using analysis of online political content to support political discussion and deliberation. He holds a B.S. magna cum laude in Computer Science with a Minor in Music from the University of Central Florida, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Information and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Irvine.
