John Thomas’ current work at IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Center is in understanding psychological complexity and developing associated measures and tools. Prior work focused on developing tools, techniques, and representations to support the capture, creation, analysis, organization, finding, and use of stories and scenarios. John received a Ph.D. in psychology from Michigan in 1971 and has worked mainly in the field of Human Computer Interaction since 1973.
