Laura Haak Marcial is a health informatics research scientist in the Center for the Advancement of Health Information Technology (CAHIT) at RTI International. Since 2000, she has created, developed, and assessed electronic health information tools. Recent projects have investigated the impact of public health informatics initiatives on quality reporting through electronic health records and health information exchanges.
