Jerrod Larson has been a UX manager at companies such as Alaska Airlines, Amazon, Google, and Qualtrics, and was a UX designer at Boeing. He has a PhD in Human-Centered Design from the University of Washington where he serves on its external advisory board.
Jen Hocko has been a web developer, technical writer, and interaction designer at both large and small organizations. She has an M.S. in Human Factors from Bentley University, and works at The MathWorks, where she manages a team that focuses on improving the usability of both custom-built and procured business software.
Richard Bye is responsible for integrating user experience design methods into the software development process at a UK engineering company. Previous roles include work in marketing and academia. Richard has degrees in psychology, cognitive development, and human factors/ergonomics.
