Isobel FreanIsobel Frean held numerous senior management and consulting roles within private and public health and social care sectors in Australia. She completed her doctoral studies in health informatics at the Faculty of Informatics, University of Wollongong, Australia in December 2006. Since 2002, she has been a member of the international healthcare standards organization Health Level 7 and has provided advice to government and industry on the e-implementation of social and aged care. Now in the UK, she leads the development of health informatics strategy for a large independent healthcare organization.
